Which photos make a better AI goal video?
Light, framing and one clear subject: how to pick a photo that gives the AI a good starting point for your soccer goal video.

The model starts from your photo, not a template
GoalAI first generates a new still of your subject on a pitch, then animates it. Everything the video knows about your face, fur or shape comes from that one upload. A better photo gives the model less to guess.
What to look for
Before you upload, check the photo against this list:
- One subject. Crop out friends, other pets and busy backgrounds.
- Even light. Daylight from a window is ideal; harsh flash and deep shadow are not.
- Sharp focus. A blurry phone shot gives you a blurry striker.
- Face visible. For people, the face should be uncovered and roughly towards the camera.
- Enough body. Waist-up or full-body shots animate better than tight selfies.
- No filters. Beauty filters, stickers and heavy edits get baked into the result.
- A normal file. JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC, up to 15 MB. Phone photos are fine.
Pets and objects
For a pet or object, choose “Pet or anything”. The model will stand the subject upright and give it a player’s posture, so a photo that shows its full shape and colouring matters more than a perfect pose.
What a good photo can’t fix
AI video still varies. Faces, clothing and the exact movement can change between the photo and the finished clip. Review the result before you post it, and if a generation fails or is blocked, the credit comes back to your account.
